6 Hour Race at The Beast
Charley Rome posted in 6 Hour Race at The Beast
Charley Rome 10:37am Jan 29
The weather forecast for this weekend is looking good. We worked hard over the weekend to get the trail in good shape for Saturday. We shoveled tons of sand off the trail. We blew the trail off. It is shaping up to be a great day for racing Saturday.
The race is a low frills affair and I don't know how many racers will actually show up Saturday. As such, please bring all the water, food, etc you will need for the race.
Email me if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

in light of the recent tragedy in Covington and the fact that when the trails are wet, many of us take to the road. I thought I would share this here:

LSU has begun enforcement of traffic laws in place for cyclists, and this course has all the information you need to avoid receiving a citation. Students, commuters, fitness and recreational riders are encouraged to attend.
